In the center section of the badge is the 1015 representing our Chapter. Each member will purchase his own Beret and badge. The badges are created at the Trophy Shop downtown at a cost of $5.00. Thanks to the membership that attended the Memorial Day activity. It meant a lot to the Color Guard to see all of you there in Vests and ball caps.

At the last Board Meeting, the Board suggested that we approve 2 donations with Chapter approval required. $1,000 to Honor Air and $500 to Fisher House. Voted on and Approved.
June is the 10th anniversary for the Chapter. The Board suggested we have a dinner to celebrate this on July 16th at R Place at 5:00 pm. Cost will be $16/person and signup sheets are in the back tonight. REMINDER: If you sign up and dont show up, you will still be required to pay the $16/person. This is because we have to let R Place know how many are attending; they prepare the food necessary; and if we dont have the numbers we said we would, then they loose money.
We have created a Plaque to be presented to Cumberland County Bank; R Place; and 19th Hole for their support of our Chapter. Ed Eischied had these made up for us.
127 Yard Sale will be at approximately the same time as the Gun & Knife Show at the Fairgrounds. We need to know who will be able to attend and help with each event. We will likely do another Flag Retirement at the Gun & Knife Show this year. Ed Eischied agreed that we can set up the trailer in front of the Crossville Tire & Appliance store. This will be August 2-4 for the 127 Yard Sale and August 4-5 for the Gun & Knife Show.
Rent to the Senior Center for our monthly meetings. $25/month and we have been paying quarterly. Board decided to pay through the rest of this year and then annually starting in January 2019. We have been notified that we are not to park our vehicles in the Senior Center parking lot, accept during meetings. Someone with a Chapter insignia parked their vehicle for several days recently and we are notifying you that this is not an option.
Suggestion the Color Guard participate in the Veterans Day Parade in some fashion. The Color Guard will discuss this and report back to the Chapter what we feel is the best option.
Helmet law is going to be enforced by the Highway Patrol in the near future. As a law abiding motorcycle rider, be sure to wear an approved DOT helmet.
